My suggestion is not to put anything even remotely hot, it will ruin them. Tried with both peppers, hot sauce and chilli barbecue sauce. Threw them away every time.
I like to make them in the afternoon as a snack, then I would leave some for breakfast next day and take the rest to work, where my colleagues usually leave me none π
Sure man, you can replace anything as longs as it's not the puff pastry πI'm uncertain if a burger meat will get enough heat to cook, but I'm willing to try with that, burger sauce and cheddar next time around - like mini burger rolls π

Those look good! Is the lack of cayenne or black pepper optional? I like pepper!

Seeing this reminds me that I have to one of those again some timeβ¦ itβs been ages π
Treat yourself, mate. It's easy and it won't take you that much time. π
I used to make them a lot, but havenβt made them for a long time now. Almost a year, donβt know why
