The original list contained only six desserts, but I was inspired to include the crickets by a video with and which made me laugh so hard, I may or may not have woken up my neighbours 😂😂
Cendol are quite good and tasty! The green color is flavored with pandan leaves. I like it. About meat in desserts, I've tried candies made of tiny 🦀 or fish, I don't recommend. I would try the 🍫 🦗 and stay away from the deep fried mars bars 😝.
I don't know. I was in a candy store and a section had the tiny 🦀 covered in caramel with sesame and next to them there was a dough covered in some sweet smelling powder .. and the dough was made with fish 😐😅.
As using meat in desserts (like the Turkish one), we have a dessert that has lamb in it but you can't taste it. It is shredded and cook completely. It only helps with the texture. However I haven't have it, I just read about it. I plan to make some and will report back whether you can taste the meat or not on Foodtribe!
You can taste it in the Turkish version, because it's just a piece of chicken, wrapped in a milk pudding. It's not that pronounced over the milky taste, but it's . . very weird and disturbing. At least for me it was.

Very interesting list. I would probably at least try all of them.
Great post, Vencolini. I'm always doubtful of dessert from cultures not known for unhealthy eating, but I'd try some chocolate crickets, damn

Candies from fish? 👀🤢How are they called?

Yeah, this sounds a bit odd!
As long as it does not have chocolate or bugs I would try it.
