  • I've found a place to acquire and have acquited a bottle of 2016 Yacoubian-Hobbs Areni. I look forward to drinking it.

    • That’s awesome! I hope you like it as much as I did. It was best after a good 30-45min of breathing.

  • I've tried the Domaine Nico Grand Mère 😍😍 (I currenlty have the Histoire D'A 😎😍) and the Paleokerisio. The Paleokerisio was my first orange wine experience and it was strange, it tastes different. I thought I would not drink more of it but I felt that it needed spices which gave me the idea of pairing it with a Japanese curry and I loved the combination. I will check your recommendations particularly the frog's leap because you even have a frog's leap bottle in your Instragram profile 😁!

  • Love whites from Sancerre, especially with gently poached fish. I do agree with you about Rose. Unfortunately, they are like red wine from Alsace, i.e. output is not big enough for all the markets. Just like Alsace reds, it's hard to come across them in Australia.

    • If you have a local wine shop where you buy Sancerre, ask the owner to check with his suppliers for a Rosé! Most shop owners don’t buy obscure wine in fear of it not selling. Ask, and you might possibly maybe shall receive!

    • It maybe logical somewhere else, but not in Australia. Our ridiculous tax/excises laws discourage wholesale and wine makers alike. However, I am always keeping my eye on obscure things, not only wines and usually find good things.
