In Canada, A&W started selling Beyond burgers about a year and a half ago. I went to get one right away to try it out. They asked me if I wanted cheese or bacon. I'm not a vegan or anything so I'm not opposed to those items on my sandwich but when she...
That‘s interesting. What did you think of your Beyond burger?
I mean, even for me as herbivore it still makes sense. Having bacon and cheese without the meat pattie still means that you are significantly reducing your consumption of...
The Big Vegan TS has been around in Germany for a couple of months now at McDonald's. And while I was excited at first, it quickly became as boring as all other burgers at McDonald's (stopped eating them way before going plant-based). BUT the Big Vegan is not made with a Beyond pattie - so that's an entirely different story!
Growing up in the '70s, in Australia , a salad roll, which was tomato, lettuce, onion, beetroot on a hamburger bun, was a very popular school tuckshop food item.
This McDs P.L.T. is very similar, so that's fine by me. It makes a nice light lunch.

It's like paleo/gluten-free chocolate cake, or Aldi's Wheat Bix for that matter. Everyone says it tastes the same, when it...
