Nicely fried catfish is an absolute delight and it still boggles me that you Yanks never cotton on to how good it is. Or indeed how good most fish is. You have loads of lovely river fish that goes uneaten, unless you’re a bear (the Ursidae kind).
I dislike all fresh water fish. Partly because as a one-time summer tech for the EPA I know how dirty the rivers are.
Fair enough. I guess it depends on the rivers you fish really.
WI - cod, walleye, baked or deep fried...rye bread, choice of potato, tartar sc, and coleslaw 😋
I love the Friday fish fry! It makes the week go faster too because you can look forward to it. Our local grocery store has a great fish sammie 😊
