I'm going to have to go the other way, I think that looks great. I would have the sauce just like that. I've made some mushroom and res wine sauces recently and an amaretto sauce each for steak and served each just like that, right over the middle. I would like it to steak and gravy, which is great, turned up.

I love ribeye but usually with just some sea salt.

Definitely salt only.
A sauce ( for me) is some thing to perhaps serve in a separate bowl and dip a bit in occasionally.
