  • You handled it better than I would have, that stuff tastes like rotten yeast. They should spend less on the can and more on the beer.

    • I can not confirm the Taste, but they could definitely do much better. When it comes to North American Beers, I actually prefer (but have not had in a long Time) Steam Whistle from Toronto and Muskoka from Muskoka.

    • They could do a whole lot better.

I have not heard of either of those.

  • The mountains on the packaging are the Rocky Mountains, which run through the state of Colorado, were Coors is made. They are very proud of their beer, more than likely because it's their own 😄 You can tour their big factory, I almost did when I was out there but apparently it would take an entire day. Glad you tried it! Definitely not the best but worth a try.

    • I know that! Actually been to the Canadian Rockies a while ago. 😊

And Coors is definitely not the worst Beer I ever had. In Fact, it is far from it. But maybe that is because I really do not like IPAs. 😬

  • You're a braver man than I, Gunga Robin. The only draw to Coors is that it used to be illegal East of the Mississippi many years ago. As a beer, it's never been a good one. Now, if you do want to try an actually decent mass produced beer, the go to for beer judges and home brewers (I'm married to a Grandmaster) is, weirdly enough, Miller High Life. Not a great beer, but it has most of the elements that they like. I must admit, it was among the first beers I ever drank as a youth and, if I still drank, it would be on my list. Much more flavourful than watered down Coors or the rest.

    • Yeah. I pretty much just wanted to try Coors because of Smokey and the Bandit. 😬
