Quite some time ago I went to New Zealand on vacation. In my first hotel, among other stuff, there was a glass of Vegemite on the breakfast table. Back then it was completey unknown in Europe (or at least in Germany), so had no idea how to eat it 😊 I grabbed a piece of toast and applied it pretty much like I would apply jam or perhaps Nutella. You people can imagine what followed 🤢 I didn't want to make a fool of myself so I somehow managed to eat the whole thing but since then I was convinced that people who eat Vegemite must also be capable of worse crimes 😁 Only a couple of years ago a friend of mine from England let me in on the secret and since then I quite like it. Call that a happy end 😊
I just googled and saw that they’ve finally come out with a gluten-free version. Maybe I will get to try it! I remember tasting a tiny bit back as a teenager, but my tastes have changed greatly since then.
That’s ridiculous!! I’m guessing that it’s a 3rd party seller. Pending on where you live if you have any specialty grocery stores, maybe they can special order some.

I think you did the opposite by eating it :p. By the way, I would have done the same thing as you!
This stuff is made by taking ball bearing grease from a garbage truck and hanging it in an outhouse for a month.
I never should have tried a massive dollop the first time I tried this stuff. I can still taste it...
Every American makes this mistake.
One I shan't make again.
What’s is this

NVM, I checked the price on Amazon...$168 for a few gluten-free free individual serve packets. 🤦♀️ I’m not THAT desperate to try it again!
