Great post! I love sake and my most memorable experience were drinking junmai. This post remind me of the Netflix documentary The Birth of Saké, I recommend to watch it!
Never heard of it!? I’ll have to watch that ASAP.
It is really good!. It provides a lot of details on all the steps involved for making sake.
I love sake. I prefer chilled and dry ones.
Have you had any barrel aged sake?
I don't think so.
Well, thank you for that lovely piece! I thoroughly enjoyed that. My fav hibachi place shut down. However, they served some awesome Tokyo Mules.
Oh no! That’s the worst part about restaurants and bars, they come and go with the trends. You haven’t found a good replacement?
For hibachi yes. Benihana. I know it is commercial but yeah that is the best one at the moment. For the Tokyo Mule, no that is history.
I absolutely love Sake! Has to be warm though...
I enjoy both hot and cold sake. But when it’s hot, it warms your soul.
I didn't even know people drank it hot. Cold sake is as easy to drink as water. Deliciously dangerous.
