How are you finding the lockdown? Is this a welcome relief from your normally hectic lifestyle, or are you crawling up the walls with boredom? However you're handling it, its undeniably a good time to get crafty – but with supermarkets gutted and non-essential shops closed, resourcefulness and efficiency is key.

One thing that is sure to brighten any day spent indoors? These lemonade scones, which use only 3 ingredients and are cooked in a slow cooker.

The three ingredients are: lemonade, cream and self-raising flour. Admittedly, you might struggle finding flour in the shops but the other two are a breeze. Let's hope you've got some flour in the cupboards already.

This recipe is easy as 1:2:3. It's one cup of cream, two cups of lemonade and three cups of self-raising. If you only have plain, then add a teaspoon of baking soda.

Gently mix together into a dough, then roll to around 2cm thick and cut into circles with a cookie cutter or glass.

Then put them in the slow cooker with some baking paper and a tea towel under the lid, cooking them on the high setting for 90 minutes.

If you haven't got a slow cooker, then do not fear: others commented saying the recipe also works in the oven.

The recipe was posted in the Slow Cooker Recipe and Tips Facebook group and so it naturally advises using the kitchen appliance.

I know what you're thinking. Recipes off a random Facebook tips page? Sounds like a bad idea –remember that most of these recipes don't work?
