5 best 'grow your own' gardening kits
We are not all green fingered gardeners who can take a seed and make a meal, so here are five of the easiest ways to grow your own veg
There was a time when the world was our oyster. Now, the boundaries of our home are our oyster and we find ourself trying to make the most of any entertainment available within it. For some of us, that means gardening.
You, like me, may not actually have a garden. You might never have grown a plant in your life or you might have managed to kill every plant that has ever relied on you. Fear not, if you fit into any of these categories, there is a kit available that will get you producing veg like Alan Titchmarsh.
Plant Theatre's Funky Veg kit
This is the ideal place to start if you've never done this sort of thing before, but it's also great for keeping people interested. The veg you'll be growing is fabulously funky. The kit comes with carrot seeds, courgette seeds, tomato seeds and Brussels sprouts. So far so normal, but the carrots are purple, the courgettes are yellow... nothing is as you expect – except the taste. That also makes these kits great for getting little ones involved in gardening. Everything you need to get the seeds on the go in the house and then out into the garden is in the kit and it's available for just £14.99.

I moved into a new house and got the garden sorted out with a new greenhouse to grow my own fruit and vegetables there’s nothing better than being successful in growing your own food and making a good go of it with amazing results. Nothing tastes better. I live in Scotland but the lockdown means we don’t have our garden centres opened up yet unlike England who have their garden centres open from today . I currently no plants 🌱 but ordered from a well known garden centre chain three tomato 🍅 plants . I want to get some cucumbers and sweet peppers to grow but I need to wait until this lockdown has finished. My Greenhouse is needing two new pane of glass installed old ones got broken in storms . Wish life would get back to normal. I am so fed up.
This is really cool! I don’t have a garden but I’m growing peppers on my window ledge. First attempt at growing anything so ill see how it goes!
Good luck 😉 with it all .
