The highlights from FoodTribe's Sweet Treats Tribe in June

First of all I'd like to thank Doug F and Jane Fyffe for their brilliant work and for letting me steal their idea. For my first post in this series, I've chosen my favourite tribe so relax, sit back, and prepare for a well deserved weekend sweet treat.

Robin 'Sweet Tooth' Ho - International Godis: This Swedish candy was awsome

Everyone loves some candy and Robin has written a brilliant article on some very tasty looking treats.

Joey Neil Acala - Have a break and have a Japanese KitKat

I love to try different kinds of chocolate, and I thought there were quite a lot of KitKat flavours available here in the UK until I read Joey's post. Now I may need to order a shipment of KitKats from Japan.

Jesse Billington - All hail the new V.I.B from McVitie's

FoodTribe's king of biscuits (and Jaffa Cakes), Jesse Billington, has another excellent video for us to enjoy. I never thought I would be watching a 6-minute unboxing video about biscuits, but Jesse managed to make an entertaining video about it.

Robert Percy - Old-school honey biscuits recipe

In another biscuit-themed post, Robert has given us a very tasty sounding recipe from the 1950s.

Jane Fyffe - Chocolate Espresso mug cake recipe

Jane has posted a very interesting mug cake recipe, and it only takes around 5 minutes to make apparently, so maybe this is something even I could make without poisoning somebody.

Which of these sweet treats would you most like to try?

  • The old school honey cookies sound great! I would like to see more people pick tribes to do a top # for.
