A Burger and Some Music!
When a cheap burger is actually kind of expensive!
Back in 2020, my wife and I bought tickets for The Rolling Stones No Filter tour as an anniversary present to ourselves. Unfortunately COVID happened, and the concert didn't! Well, they pushed it back and we got to go see them in our current home town of Atlanta, GA at the Mercedes Benz Arena.
When they built out the new Mercedes Benz Arena, one of the big things they touted was the excellent food choices at a low cost to the consumer. So, as far as stadium food goes, I thought $5 for a cheeseburger with all of the usual fixings, and $3 for a side of fries wasn't that bad! Add in the cost of the tickets though and OUCH!!!!
Sadly, the burger was less than awesome. I've never had a drier burger patty on a cheeseburger! Thank God for the lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ketchup, and mayo for those toppings helped make this little burger palatable.
Not a bad spread for the money, I guess!
At least the music was good and I got to knock a MAJOR bucket list item off by seeing one of the greatest rock n' roll bands of all time strut their stuff on stage! :D
They've still got it!
Look at all these unhappy looking people! HAHAHAHA
