A new Sherlock-themed Afternoon Tea has launched in LONDON

Step into The Mind Palance and find all the clues in your cakes

2y ago

Take two of the most quintessentially English things — Sherlock Holmes the private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the centuries old tradition of afternoon tea — put them together and you've got some seriously mysterious cucumber sandwiches.

Fans of Sherlock Holmes can now indulge in their favourite detective stories while scoffing cake and sandwiches and guzzling tea at The Mind Palace, Sherlock: The Official Live Game’s popular stand alone bar — designed specifically for the curious.

The Mind Palace is a speakeasy adjoined to the Sherlock escape room experience and offers a unique drinking experience with cocktails codenamed and mysteries to solve while you sip.

Sherlock themed afternoon tea, is not exactly a new concept to London, but a fully immersive speakeasy bar that is, you guessed it, Sherlock Holmes themed is quite unique in setting alone.

Dive head-first into a mini-mystery as you enjoy a selection of freshly made sandwiches, scones served with cream and jam, and Sherlock-inspired sweet treats such as the 221B Brownie and a ginger delicious Deerstalker Cookie.

The sandwiches include classic British favourites such as chicken coronation, cheddar and Branston pickle, and cucumber and cream cheese, followed by a selection of sweet treats.

For just £30 a head, guests can indulge in the afternoon tea alongside a bite size mystery to solve, a detectives trail around The Mind Palace with rewards for successful deductions.

For detectives wanting to really treat themselves, the Detective’s Tipple Afternoon Tea is available for £35 with a choice of Prosecco, Draft Beer or Seedlip and Tonic along with the tea.

Super-fans can make a day of it and book into the Sherlock: The Official Live Game, the immersive game featuring a series of puzzles and mysteries to solve with original content from the renowned BBC show. Follow up with afternoon tea and save £5 on the total booking.

Afternoon tea is served in The Mind Palace every Saturday and Sunday and must be purchased in advance with minimum 2 people. Book the experience here now.
