A Prosecco vending machine arrives in London
From an ATM, to a dispenser of happiness with bubbles
APM: Automatic Prosecco Machine. It looks like an ATM, it was an ATM, but in reality that machine installed on Gracechurch Street, London, is a wine vending machine (who knows if it is really Prosecco though).
Vagabond Wines, which currently has eight wine shops across London, decided everyone would prefer an APM, to an ATM. And we reckon they're right.
On social networks, Vagabond Wines has launched a video showing how it works: only one glass is dispensed at a time, to "transmit a message of moderation in consumption".
Unfortunately, however, the President of the Prosecco Consortium, Doc Stefano Zanette is disappointed: "This is a fraud against British consumers, as well as serious damage to the image for our denomination". It seems to be an "illegitimate reference to the Prosecco denomination".
Is it Prosecco, or isn't it? Please, if you are in the Gracechurch Street area, taste it and let us know what you think...
