A spoon full of nostalgia: Serendipity launches four new ice cream flavors
Serendipity launches four new ice cream flavors inspired by popular movies and sitcom from the 80s and 90s
Ice cream brand Serendipity decided to surf on the nostalgia wave, launching four new flavors inspired by cult movies from the 80s and 90s, and the iconic sitcom "Friends".
Serendipity, which has a shop in New York and sells its products in the major American groceries, adds to the list of its colorful and tasty ice-cream pints the brand new "Central Perk Coffee Almond Fudge".
Inspired by the Central Perk Cafe where the main characters of "Friends" use to spend their time, it's a pint of coffee ice cream with chocolate covered almonds, and delicious fudge twirls. A great combination of sweet and tasty flavours and a spoon of nostalgia for all fans of the sitcom.
Other than "Friends" there are 3 other flavors: one of them is "Sloth & Chunk Rocky Rooooaad?" inspired by 1985 Steven Spielberg movie, "The Goonies". It's a chocolate based ice cream with almonds and marshmallows, that recalls the name of two of the main characters. Perfect to eat while watching the adventures of Mike, Brandon, Data, Mouth and Chunk searching for the long-lost fortune of the pirate One-Eyed Willy.
Along with these new and already available flavours, soon, thanks to a partnership with Warner Bros, two other flavours will be on sale. One is, "Oh Fudge! Peppermint Cookie Fudge Sundae", an ice cream pint based on the classic Christmas movie "A Christmas Story": mint ice-cream with chocolate cookie swirls mixed with green and red candies.
The last but but not least is "Gopher Traxs", a vanilla ice cream pint with a delicious combination of peanut butter and salty caramel, inspired by Harold Ramis' movie Caddyshack. A true throwback to the past. After all, what's better than a good ol' movie and a bucket of ice cream?
