With a tofu hater in the house, trying to eat less meat can be tough! Luckily I found a few easy, tasty, and tofu-free recipes (spoiler alert - lots of chickpeas)
I always keep a can of chickpeas handy, they can spruce up any seemingly boring vegetarian dish! Lentils and beans (all kinds) are awesome too. Easy to keep canned. Great source of protein.

I do like some chickpeas. You can season and roast them in the oven for a crunchy snack as well.
