After having Dairy Queen the other week we was in need of a proper chili dog. Yes there is a hot dog on there. There are layers of flavors I prefer. On the bun I start with some yellow mustard, then a Nathan's all beef hotdog, a sprinkling of hot pepper cheese, spoon on some homemade chili, top that with a sprinkling of Mexican blend cheese and then finally topped with diced green and sweet onion. It's a good way to help use up that last bit of chili in the pot. Do you like chili dogs? How do you top yours?
