I don't mind shucking corn; did it a lot growing up as a kid on a farm. But not at 0600!
I shucked more than I care to remember that's for sure. Shucking is not bad I hate pulling all the hairs off🙄

I have shucked enough corn, snapped beans, and shelled peas to last a lifetime! If I'm honest I would much rather shuck oysters!
I do feel your pain! It just tastes so good though.
At this point i just throw the whole thing on the grill and let corn cook and the silk burn off. Nothing beats fresh corn though!
Shocking corn is fun, especially with the reward waiting at the end. 😋

Easiest way to do it, microwave for 4 to 5 minutes. Chop off the tip and squeeze the other end should just come out in one bit and hairless
Except when you have a bushel or more to do…..just shuck it……
