An avocado themed restaurant is on its way to London
The latest addition to a city with a wide variety of cuisines
The worldwide craze for avocados might have died out but the superfood is now a staple of millions of breakfasts around the world. Avocados are pretty beneficial to our health too. The humble avocado has double the amount of potassium compared to a banana. Well, now you can fulfil your wildest avocado fantasies as a new avocado-themed restaurant is set to open its doors in London later this month.
The Avocado Show already has restaurants in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Madrid where it has amassed a cult-following on Instagram. The menu sports colourful dishes like the 'Benny Boy' which is "crispy bacon, avocado, homemade hollandaise sauce, mixed leaves and two perfectly poached eggs."
The star of the menu however is the 'Avocado Bun Burger,' composed of a beef patty sandwiched between two avocado halves.
The Avocado Show trialled a pop-up store in London two years ago but the store opening this time round will be a permanent business. The first London restaurant will be opening later this month in Princes Street, Mayfair. This is also the same street of revolutionary plant-based burger chain Neat Burger.
With two more restaurants opening in London later this year, plans have also been made to bring The Avocado Show to Paris and Stuttgart which could be interesting.
Rest assured that The Avocado Show might just be the hottest food joint in London. Let's hope more places like these can open up in more cities around the world.
