Anheuser-Busch donates 9,000 cans of drinking water to tornado relief support
The charitable move follows the recent tornado that occurred in Arkansas
Anheuser-Busch, the brewing company that manages brands like Budweiser, Stella Artois, Bud Light, has donated 9,000 emergency drinking water cans at the request of the American Red Cross to support local communities in Arkansas impacted by the recent tornado.
Anheuser-Busch's distribution partner, C & C Distibutors, will work with the American Red Cross and the local Anheuser-Busch team to help distribute the water to those in need.
An Anheuser-Busch rice mill in Jonesboro had sustained some damage during the tornado and is now being repaired. All the employees working at the mill during that time are safe.
The emergency drinking water cans are produced at Anheuser-Busch brewery at Cartersville, Georgia and Fort Collins, Colorado. Both breweries pause beer production from time to time to can emergency drinking water to help communities in time of crisis. The canning of emergency water began in 1988.
