Just a short while ago, I had written about a Kola from Hamburg. Even though I definitely prefer that Beverage, there are more German Colas out there.
One of those Colas is Afr-Cola, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Africa. In Fact, it dates back to 1931 and is now owned and produced by a Company I actually know.
In Fact, I usually drive past there every Day on my way to Work.

The bad Thing is: I am really not a Fan of Afri-Cola at all. To me, it just tastes overly sweet. All it really has going for it is a decently high Caffeine Content.
There are around 250mg in a Liter of the Cola. And that is actually a lot. That does not make it an Energy Drink, but for a Cola it really packs a punch.
In some Circles, it even has something of a Cult Status
In a Glas.
That does not really make me like it though. I actually do not.
There are much better German Colas out there. Like Fritz Kola. I really do love that stuff.

In the glass it does not seem as dark as normal cola either.
Yes, it appears much lighter in the Foto. But it is a bit closer irl. Still lighter though. 😬
