Apple Focaccia

I have to say you guys choose well although I have to say the Banana Cinnabon's are insane so I may just have to post about them soon! The Apple Focaccia is really easy to make, even If you are used to making your own focaccia or if you are new to the baking.

I simply add 1 tsp of cinnamon, Sultanas and 2 tbsp of sugar to the flour and yeast before adding the water to form the dough. Once the dough has had its 1st prove I split the dough into 2 and line the bottom of the tin then I add a cup of apple sauce to the middle spreading evenly. Then shape the last bit of dough to roughly the same size as the tin and place on top. Cover with cling film and place back into prove again. Once the second prove is done I cut a bramley apple into thin slices, and place on top and brush over with some milk alternative. Once the focaccia is baked I brush over Agave nectar or golden syrup.

As you can see the layer of apple sauce in the middle is just divine!! What fruit focaccia would you make??? I have tried several different ones in the past I will have to dig the photos out for you to see, comment below if you would like to see some more fruit focaccia's!!!
