It seems more and more people are realising (or accepting) that yes, food and beer pairing is a thing and there’s a whole world of options. Major beer producers are also embracing this trend and Guinness, arguably the most popular stout beer brand in the world, has finally decided to release its first official cookbook.
In the book, you’ll find over 70 recipes that Guinness has so far kept secret and only used in the restaurant inside the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. There’s a bit of everything for everyone, from chocolate cakes to sausage casseroles; from Guinness soda bread to chocolate potato cake.
The ‘Official Guinness Cookbook’ was written and edited by Irish food critic and journalist Caroline Hennessey, and it actually features recipes that can be paired to any type of beer produced by Guinness, not just the famous stout.

Steak and kidney pudding and Guinness. Fish and chips and Coopers' Sparkling Ale (Aussie beer) or any ale. Boiled Viennese sausages and lager. Bangers, mash and Bitter. I can go for sometime!
