Baby Yoda cocktails are a thing – and people love them
Drinks Jedi for?
Hot off the tails of Star Wars TV spin-off The Mandalorian, bars across the world are cashing in on the series' cutest new character – Baby Yoda.
Fine, at 50 years old he's probably a bit past it to be called a baby, but y'know – the green guy lives to be more than 900 years old.
Anyway, you can't have gone anywhere on the internet without seeing screenshots of baby Yoda's cute face, and now he's the subject of some delicious cocktail mimickery.
Properly called The Child, young Yoda is probably delighted to be the subject of several spin-off cocktails
Fearing absolutely zero backlash from Disney's legal team, the Laka Lono Rum Club in Omaha, Nebraska, has pioneered a cocktail that looks suspiciously like our favourite mini Jedi Master.
Made with Baiju, Midori, pineapple juice, lime juice, and coconut cream, it bears an uncanny resemblance to Luke Skywalker's dwarfish guardian. It even comes with a napkin tied around the glass to protect Yoda's modest stem girth. A pair of lime wedges give him the gift of hearing.
Laka Lono Rum Club isn't the only place getting in on the Yodaction. Booze recipe specialist Kegworks has gives us it own, slightly greener take on the recipe. This time it comes wrapped in what looks like your grandad's favourite sock.
Cunningly titled the Matcha-lorian, it includes a bit of green tea, ginger syrup, gin, lemon juice and cucumber slices. You can find the full recipe over at Kegworks.

A cocktail may be gone in a few minutes, but a hilariously cute t-shirt lasts a lifetime. Or at least several years until it's retired to your pyjama drawer. This Mandalorian t-shirt features your favourite young-but-not-that-young Jedi Master. And it's a snip at £18.
