So this is the second to last episode of Beer of the Day and I thought I'd do something different. Worry not, I've got something special lined up for tomorrow, then a recap post for all the beers I've shared in February and a great idea for the future of this... "segment." Today's beer isn't special, it's just a common 4.7% ABV Peroni, what makes it special is A, the fact that I've paired it with an excellent Sachertorte and B, the setting, because this is from a recent trip to the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire, 220 miles north of London. In the backdrop, you can see the ruins of Bolton Abbey, a 12th-century Augustinian monastery also known as Bolton Priory. Enjoy, and I'll see you tomorrow for the finale.

Beer and cake?
yes, Sir! Next up, beer & biscuits
Gorgeous view.
I like Yorkshire, interesting place and people with a weird accent all around you
Yeah, can't fault that. Rest everything seems to be ruined.
day twenty-eight, #beer twenty-eight and we're getting ready for the finale @tribe
Ahhh yes. Bolton Abbey. Perfect place. Perfect drink and meal combo.
Thank you, Sir! I'm gonna have to go back at some point
You should do for sure!
Beer and cake? That is odd. Why did u destroy both? And what is up with Peroni? It tastes different when in bottle and draught.
nah, it's an excellent combo. I had a Peroni because it was the only vaguely decent beer they had
I can seem to understand why I don’t like it. Puts me quite off the Peroni
