This recipe came out of a Kroger flyer and I thought I would give it a try. It uses refrigerated cheese tortellini, romaine salad mix, bacon(of course), little tomatoes, chives and a sour cream-mayo mix along with a couple of other little things. This was pretty tasty but we found the tortellini to be just too much. You really couldn't get a bite of everything together just because the size of the tortellini. I guess I'll go back to the blt pasta salad I already make but I am glad I tried this one and if I find smaller tortellini I might try it again.

Looks great and those colours, just lovely
Thank you Emilia! It gives food more enjoyment.
Exactly :)
Looks great. I like anything BLT
Everything is better with bacon!
That's right.
I recently added some brine from my gherkin jar to some mayo before tossing through a salad. Am keen to try adding a bit of sour cream too. Noms!
Why not? That's like adding vinegar and seasonings. This did have salt, pepper and a splash of apple cider vinegar.
For some reason im on a celery kick at the moment... I have to put it in everything... Turns out it works really well in that type of salad...
Ive done something similar mostly to try to help use it up. Lol
That might be why! There are two bags in the fridge!
I do one like that with tomatoes, basil feta, cucumbers, and sweet baby bell peppers with a balsamic vinaigrette... Its a big hit with the family
That sounds pretty tasty! Sounds close to a chopped veggie salad I make...tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, Mediterranean feta, lemon juice or vinegar, a little sugar and greek seasoning blend.
