Bollocks to cooking: I’m going to have fish ‘n’ chips tonight. Yay!
I’m prepared to add my own vinegar, but that’s about it.
On my daily government-approved bike ride yesterday, I noticed that my nearest chippy seems to be offering a pre-order, hatch-collection service. Bomb.
So no cooking today. If I cook, I will be denying the chip-shop owner his livelihood at a difficult time. My livelihood is not being denied, only postponed. But you can’t postpone having fish ‘n’ chips on Saturday 4th April, so I’m going to do it today, while I can.
Tomorrow,, I shall be making chicken tikka bhuna, but only because the Indian has shut completely. They must be minted.
