Bomba Calabrese (Calabrian bomb): an Italian chilli vegetarian sauce... incredibly good!
I don't know if you know it, but the Calabria region is famous for producing the best chillies in Italy. In Calabria they eat very spicily food, and it is precisely here that the Nduja is born, a soft sausage with a more or less spicy taste.
This sauce, on the other hand, does not contain meat, is of vegetable origin and is divine!
Here are the ingredients:
Calabrian hot chilli peppers 34%, eggplants 10%, artichokes 7%, porcini mushrooms 4%, sunflower oil, salt, white wine vinegar and oregano.
