After a significant amount of controversy this year, hirings, firings, walkouts and a whole lot of drama being played out across social media, Bon Appetit is back.

There are some familiar faces and a lot of new contributors. I can't wait to see what they make!

The new leaders introduce themselves:

A teaser has been posted on Twitter as well, but has already received some criticism and negative feedback in the replies to the post.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming months.

  • I might watch Brad's stuff, but really I am very, very over BA. Rooting for Sohla's success over on Babish, but she seems uncomfortable over there in the format carved out for her. We shall see. Puzzled by what motivated Chef Marcus to be a part of the BA reboot or whatever they're calling it. It's all kinda cringey ATM.

  • The magazine is now too political for me. I still get it because I like the recipes. But the social messages that I get by email, the articles that are social warrior stuff. Just let me relax after work with my favorite cooking magazine.
