British Airways wants to hire a ‘Master of Wine’ after hitting ‘rock bottom’

They literally said that

British Airways has apparently realised, acknowledged and accepted that its wine offering when it comes to the onboard menu was a bit terrible and wants to fix that by hiring a ‘Master of Wine’ to help the airline select good wines to serve during flights.

’Master of Wine’ is more than a nickname, it is actually a title. At the moment, there are 418 MWs in over 30 countries. They (BA) want to hire one because they’ve apparently realised their current selection wasn’t good enough, they even went as far as to say they’ve hit ‘rock bottom’.

Do you normally fly BA? How’s your experience so far?

  • I always did fly with Lufthansa and on every flight I had a glass of red wine…or two 😄 because it was awesome. Being said by someone who rarely sips a glass of whatever only on occasions.

Maybe I should choose BA now when I fly to the UK in the future? 🍷

  • I have never flown and I don't drink wine, so I really don't care.
