Bruno Mars' rum sells out in just two hours
And it's not inexpensive, either
A few years ago, American singer Bruno Mars joined the (very) long list of celebrities who successfully produce their own booze. His latest product, a bottle of Panama-distilled top notch rum, was released a couple of days ago and it sold out in less than two hours, despite the hefty price tag.
Owner's Reserve, this is the name of the liquor, is made from a blend of Panama-distilled rums aged between 15 and 25 years and it is described by Mars as a high-end drop "tasting like a vacation in a glass".
Selvarey Rum (Spanish for 'Jungle King'), was founded by Bruno Mars, Seth Gold, Marc Gold and Robert Herzig in 2014 and in November 2020, the brand was revamped with a new campaign and updated design.
A bottle of Owner's Reserve will set you back $150 but the range also includes a $29.99 bottle of white rum and a $34.99 bottle of chocolate-flavoured rum.
