Burger wars: Where does Carl's townhouse rank?
Lets see what I ordered
Foodtribe unfortunately you all did not get to have a choice in this one. What I ordered is the same thing I always get when I go there. The picture below Is how they come. Since it is really hard to get a good photo with them in the take out container I did take them out so you all could see what they look like a little better.
Do they taste as good as they look? The short answer is absolutely.
Look at those amazing onion ring.
I must say these sliders look so good. Just look at that melty cheese. These burgers are made to order. They start with measuring out small balls of fresh ground beef then smashing them into a patty form on the grill. I pulled off a small piece of beef for a taste and it tasted like good quality beef. I always pick hot pepper cheese. They even hand slice the cheese that goes on them. The slices of cheese varies in thickness since it is hand cut. The onion is also hand cut and has a very nice crispness. Lettuce is standard iceberg which holds up well. To be honest I am not sure what type of pickle is on it. The buns are nice and soft although sometimes that bottom bun gets a little weak from all the moisture.
You know you want that bite.
I also want to say these do not come with any condiments at all. What I listed above is all that is on them. If you want ketchup or anything of the sort they give you packets and you add it yourself. Honestly these sliders do not need any condiments at all, they are great as they come.
If I had to find a complaint it would be that the bottom bun does give up to the moisture, but I promise you will not care. Carl's always delivers great little sliders. They are handmade by people who care about what they are doing and it shows. When I want a burger and can not be bothered to make it I go to Carl's townhouse. So I have to put this at the top of the list.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I hope you all are having a great week. Always remember I love you all.
