Take 2. Doug's ramen burger, aka. the Big A$$ Soup Burger with Cheese!
After hearing this challenge was extended by another week, I simply couldn't turn down the excuse to try and make another one of Doug's amazing World of Burgers creations. Today we go to Japan where I transform my somewhat ordinary ramen noodle packet into a burger of outrageous proportions!
One thing I always look forward to with ramen is the corn topping. So I had to figure out a way to incorporate it into my ramen burger. Doug's recipe calls for an egg to be added to the noodles to make the bun, here I take things one step further by incorporating the noodles and the ramen noodle seasoning packet with a special batch of corn fritter batter. And success! I added just enough batter to achieve some structure, but not so much that you lose the noodles.
I was not brave enough to eat this by hand, I feel it's definitely a knife and fork affair, but OMG. If you want to treat yourself, this is the one. Just do it! Absolutely no regrets 😁 Thanks Doug for inspiring us to eat better burgers. They are almost too good for us 😂😉😁❤️
