That's right, it's here! My entry for Doug's burger challenge! This was a very tough decision. The Cuban, the big a$$ soup burger with cheese, the fried Mac and Cheese burger, the pretzel burger, I literally could go on. But none of these made the cut. Today I have been transported to Mexico and back again by the epic Mexican burger.

Oh. My. God. What a burger! I made the cheese filled tortilla burger bun parts a little thinner so they were more like a Quesadilla than a parcel filled with cheese, but they were still filled with cheese and toasted until a little bit crispy none the less 🙂

I made a super chunky beef patty well seasoned with taco seasoning. It's soooo noms with the melted cheese on top!

I also sneaked in some sriracha sauce into my spicy salsa for an added kick.

This is proof that Doug is not all photos, there is real nomtastic substance here. I know this competition is for coins, but after making one of his amazing burgers I not only want to make them all, but I feel Doug is the most deserving of these coins as without him, these wonderful culinary experiences would not exist. Doug, your efforts towards burger development need to be honoured. I hope we can find a way that is befitting of such a wonderful contributer to our FoodTribe. 3 cheers for Doug! 🎉👏😁❤️🍔👑🎉
