Cadbury wants you to choose new chocolate flavour
The chocolate supremo has launched a competition to decide which creation should feature in its range.
Last year, Cadbury ran a scheme that entailed asking the public to choose their favourite chocolate bar flavour out of three that had been developed by apparently ordinary people. All of the technical and complicated manufacturing stuff was sorted by the chocolate firm (it wasn’t just some random guy in his bathtub), but suggesting the flavours and choosing the best one was left to Cadbury’s customers. I bet Carling wouldn’t dare try that with its fan base.
The resulting winner was a design that wove coffee into the Dairy Milk mixture. It was called Choca-latte and faced competition from a raspberry shortcake concoction and an orange flavour. So, coffee, strawberry and orange flavoured chocolate; my mind literally exploded into a million pieces, unable to cope with the revolutionary surprises.
In contrast to last year’s dismal lack of originality, the class of 2020 appears to include a somewhat more interesting line-up of succulent tastes; Crunchy Honeycomb, Coconutty and Out of the Blueberry have all come up trumps and been chosen to face the public in a gruelling battle to find the nation’s new favourite combination of cocoa, sugar and milk.
The honeycomb was envisaged by Shannon, a nineteen-year-old student from Nottingham who has clearly never eaten a Cadbury Crunchie. This development, however, has shaken the world of confectionary to its core by including hazelnuts and caramel with the honeycomb. Imagination like this is desperately needed in scientific research.
Things get slightly more exclusive with the coconut idea, which teams milk chocolate with coconut crumble and tiny crunchy balls to create a chocolate bar that is likely to be refreshing and packed with sweetness. The final contender (and definitely the one with the best name) is Out of the Blueberry, which was designed by Taylor from Leeds and contains blueberry nuggets with white chocolate pearls that are all wrapped up in layers of Dairy Milk.
The winning invention will earn the right of being employed into Cadbury’s endearing collection of chocolate bars. Voting ends on 6th September, leaving you plenty of time to thoroughly try out every bar (multiple times may well be necessary).

Crunchy Honeycomb for me, followed by a Coconutty. You can keep the Out of the Blueberry.
I would much rather like burned toast as a flavor.
Burnt toast is my favourite flavour of toast
IT'S TIME FOR A CADBURY BOUNTY - VOTE 1 COCONUTTY
Not sure why I'm so passionate about this. It's UK chocolate.
Didn't consider that... Definitely won't be supporting that one then
