Carlos Santana has launched his own line of delicious coffee

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is known for his mesmerising and flowing guitar licks, but now he's turned his attention to the beverage industry, crafting a range of artisinal coffees for us all to enjoy.

Named after himself, the Carlos Santana Coffee Company aims to deliver hand-crafted, premium roasted blends that range from the signature "Smooth" blend (of course) to the darkest "Evil Ways" blend.

If you're a Santana fan, other blend names will also seem familiar to you: There's Oye Como Va Blend, Essential Santana Blend, Power of Peace, and Global Consciousness. No doubt the names will raise more than a smirk from fans of Santana's work, who will appreciate the naming as much as they appreciate the coffee itself.

Each blend is priced at $20 for a 12oz bag, or you can join a subscription program where the cost will go down to $18/bag, with the choice of delivery every 14,21,30 or 60 days, depending on how quickly you go through your coffee.

There's also the option for whole bean or ground coffee to be delivered, along with having the choice of caffeinated or decaf coffee.

Santana's new enterprise forms a partnership with Icon Global Coffee Company, who know a thing or two, since they've been around since 1930. The goal is to "serve fans and friends around the world the most divine and meaningful cup of coffee while helping children in need" and each purchase will form part of a donation towards Santana's charity - The Miligaro Foundation - which supports vulnerable children.

At the time of writing, the blends are only available online, but since you'll be drinking the wares of the self-proclaimed "coolest coffee company on the planet" and doing your bit for charity, it's worth the wait.
