Cheesy Marmite hot cross buns are heading to an M&S near you

Is marmite your favourite spread or worst nightmare?

Marks and Spencer (M&S) have just revealed their latest creation in the food department: Marmite and cheese hot cross buns. Whilst just about rational human being loves hot cross buns and cheese, Marmite has always divided opinions. You either love it or you hate it, there is no middle ground. This fruit-free product is baked as a substitute for those who cannot stand raisin-speckled hot cross buns in the morning.

The buns contain mature Cheddar and Red Leicester cheeses, which should make for a tasty snack. They are also freezable should you wish to create a secret stash. These cheesy marmite buns are part of M&S' new Marmite range of products and will go on sale alongside the "Marmite cheese slices" and "Marmite, with a twist" pastry. The buns are now available at your nearest M&S store at £1.65 for a pack of four or two packs for £2.50.
