Chetna Makan 30 Minute Butter Chicken
I made it, but not quite right - it was nice though.
I admit it - it was a bit salty, and my fault. Tasty though.
I cut down on salt a few years ago, but this was entirely my fault. I'm lazy about chopping garlic and ginger, having gone through www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB4U2tCmIJQ and made a decent amount of it. Its handy and it doesn't spit like a normal water based mix from a local shop.
So, I did use some in the marinade, and also the sauce (OK, mea cupla, that did not need ginger - but I like ginger).
So I added plenty of salt like that, and I forgot to omit it with the sauce spicing. :-(
I thought it would be too dry but it was fine.
Also: an observation about the frozen chapatis: it says don't thaw and it means it. In the time it takes to cook 3, in weather like this, the third one will be trying to stick to the wrapping. Keep them cold, even if batch frying them.
