Chinese restaurant owner in Montreal adds brutally honest commentary to his menu
Customers have been flocking to Aunt Dai to see whether the Orange Beef really 'isn't THAT good'...
When it comes to trying out a restaurant, whether it's brand new or new to you, reviews are often important. And in the case of Aunt Dai in Montreal, Canada, the honest reviews come straight from the owner.
Feigang Fei tells his customers that the Orange Beef is 'not THAT good', and 'it's your call' if you order it. He's also not a fan of the Imperial Rolls, stating that they're good but small. Apparently the Singapore Noodles have a curry flavor to them and are a safe choice, but it's not 'SO tasty'.

He says that he has added some new items to the menu and they are proving to be popular, but he hasn't had a chance to try them yet. Talking about the Satay Beef, he said, "This is new on our menu, I did NOT have chance to try this one yet. According to a lot of customers, this one is very popular, I still don't have the chance to taste it. Looks like I should spend more time eating in my own restaurant."
The menu was shared online by local fan Kim Belair and people loved how honest Fei was. In response to the tweet one person said, 'Someone tell this owner to write reviews for literally everything. Would pay a sub to read them'.
Another said, 'What? Why can't every menu be like this?'
The menu tweet has brought in a lot of new business for Aunt Dai. In a blog post, Fei said that the tweet has changed everything. 'Friday and Saturday we saw a lot of new customers and a lot of them told me they heard me on the radio or saw me on TV and they loved it'.

I would go there to eat and then compare notes. Or maybe it's the owner's intend? Looks like whatever it is, it's working!
Thats just funny
Lol right, that’s the kind of thing that would make me want to eat there.
Absolutely!
