Chipotle share their super-easy white rice recipe

We've all been missing fast food lately, and although some places are beginning to open up, a lot of us have taken to home-cooking 'fakeaway' meals instead of splashing the cash and going out.

Chipotle has jumped on board this 'fakeaway' trend and run with it, amassing millions of views on video sharing platform TikTok, where you can learn how to make their famously tasty white rice along with a whole bunch of other Chipotle recipes.

Being a TikTok video, this is no ordinary cook-along video. With a weird voice modulation effect throughout, it may be one video that you choose to listen to with the sound pretty low down. That having been said, it's a great video to aid in making your own Chipotle-style 'fakeaway'.

Essentially, it's cooked white rice with some lime and salt, so nothing too challenging.

Start off by cooking enough white rice to satisfy your needs (ideally in a dedicated rice cooker) then season with fresh cilantro, lime juice and salt before serving.

As the voiceover says in the video, "it's actually pretty easy", so you have no excuse not to give it a go for yourself. Unless you don't like rice, of course.
