In a year that has... well, not been the best, Starbucks has swooped in once again to save our holidays by releasing their Christmas menu.

This menu features some holiday classics in the Gingerbread, Eggnog and Toffee Nut lattes – all of which you can order with vegan whipped topping – but there's also a brand new hot chocolate. This is the news we need for 2020.

The new hot chocolate is officially called the Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate and is a blend of steamed milk and chocolatey mocha. It's topped with a chocolate truffle flavour topping and whipped cream.

If you're in the mood for some festive foods, they have you covered there too. The classic Very Merry Vegan Wrap, 'Tis The Season Turkey Sandwich and Christmas Tree Brownie will be back, but the new sandwich gives us all of the holiday, and Friends, vibes.

The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich is a delicious sounding combination of holiday flavours. The top layer has pulled ham hock and turkey, while the bottom layer has a smoky butternut crush, sharp red cabbage, and a cheddar cheese slice. The middle layer, the Moist Maker if you will, is a piece of sourdough bread steeped in a turkey and cranberry gravy. If you find yourself bringing this to work for lunch (well, your work desk/sofa/bed at home), we recommend channeling your inner Phoebe Buffay and writing a note.

No Starbucks, it's not too early...

The Starbucks Christmas menu is available from 5 November until 4 January.

  • Coffee Lovers...then mentions Starbucks?

    • A lot of people love Starbucks, especially during the holidays and that’s fine. Obviously there are other coffee places that people like more and that’s also fine. I’ve never been to a Costa, I don’t think we have them here, but I hope they do...

    • sure, I wasn't disputing the fact that a lot of folk like them, however, their beans are most definately over roasted and, as such, taste bitter as a result.

If you have an Italian coffee stand/eatery in your town/city serving illy coffee...
