Corona ruined your wedding plans? Win a year’s worth of free beer!
Busch is giving away loads of beer to couples who had to change their wedding plans
Countless numbers of couples have sadly had to postpone or cancel their weddings due to the coronavirus pandemic. But one company is easing the pain and disappointment of would-be married couples out there — with beer.
Busch Beer is giving couples whose wedding plans have changed due to the virus a chance to win free beer — for a whole year.
In a news release, Busch said: "Whether couples ran to city hall to say 'I do' or are postponing until another time when they can gather friends and family, this small consolation will allow them to focus on what really matters -- each other -- and cheers all year long.”
If you had your wedding plans scuppered because of the pandemic, all you have to do to be in with a chance of a year’s booze is post a photo of yourself on social media. Use the hashtags #BuschWeddingGift and #Sweepstakes, and add a caption explaining how you still plan on celebrating.
Two hundred and fifty lucky winning couples will receive a $300 debit card, which can be used to buy two 24-pack cases per month.
"Wedding season is approaching and we've seen many stories of couples having to adjust and cancel their plans," Daniel Blake, vice president of value brands at Anheuser-Busch, said in a statement. "Busch still wanted to offer these couples a chance for a wedding gift and a reason to celebrate their love regardless of our unprecedented situation."
