For those who don’t know yet, I’m in Brazil. Our president literally doesn’t believe COVID-19 is real, but state and city officials are now taking action.
The mayor has issued an order a couple of days ago to close all non-essential business. I have been in quarantine for a while, but went out to day to do my regular bi-week grocery shopping.
My local supermarket is now limiting purchase of all basic items to just a couple of week’s worth of supply (5kg of meat, 2 bags of rice, 2 bars of soap, etc). The only item that was down to half stock were the eggs. I couldn’t find the small boxes of milk that I usually buy. This is how my pantry looks today. Doesn’t look like a lot, but will keep me alive for 2 weeks without shopping. How does your look like?
