Costco food courts are reopening
It's the good news you've been waiting for
Fans of the distinctive taste of a Costco hot dog will be happy to learn that it seems the wholesale retailer has reopened at least some of its food courts.
Costco has been keeping a long list of adaptations and changes to its operations in light of the covid-19 pandemic. One of their newest updates is that the food courts will be reopening - but not quite as you know them. Orders will only be available for takeout and not everything will be available to eat.
The official update on the Costco website reads: “A limited menu is available at Costco Food Courts. Orders are only available for takeout — seating is not available. Please ask Costco Food Court employees for available condiments.”
On Instagram, TheCostCoconnoesseur (brilliant name) posted a photo of delicious-looking pepperoni pizza at their local Costco.

Available items (at least at that one Costo store) included hot dogs, soda, whole cheese pizzas, whole pepperoni pizzas, cheese pizza slices, and pepperoni slices.
Other changes Costco has made to how its stores run include suspending samples, different hours and specific shopping times for at-risk customers. First responders can also cut lines with an ID. Masks must be worn when you’re inside shopping. That last rule, ICYMI, led Costco to this frankly inspired bit of Facebook snark:
