Doctors advise Queen Elizabeth to stop drinking

Gotta love the Queen

The Queen Is 95 but she looks younger than that, she’s still in good health, and there are certainly longevity patterns in her family. Her mother Queen Elizabeth, for example, lived to be 101.

Some might say that, well, the fact that she’s a Royal and therefore doesn’t have to deal with most of the daily stress most people have to deal with helps, but she also has another secret, how can I put this ’royally’? She does… drink. A bit.

Everybody knows that Queen Elizabeth II famously has her own brand of gin, and she reportedly drinks a Martini nearly every day.

However, her doctors reportedly recently told her to give up drinking so she can be “as fit and healthy as possible” for the several royal engagements coming up in the coming months but… will she actually do that?

  • Why would anyone stop drinking at 95? Apparently drinking has worked for the Queen to get her that far, so where's the point of changing that habit, especially as she doesn't drink much?

An aunt of mine lived to 86 and she certainly liked her whisky. I regularly sent her a bottle of a good single malt and it didn't seem to harm her, quite the opposite.

  • Well . . that's a bit pointless. Like, how much does she drink anyways?! It's not like she's an alcoholic or anything even close to that. Let the woman enjoy her old age! #QueenNeedsHerDrink

  • If I were her I’d be drinking that hydroponically infused beer…especially since she has to deal with all those Brits😜
