Well kind of. Sam the cooking guy done this the other day and we figured why not? I do think these will get you by in a pinch. Mine were still cold when I fried them, I think you should probably let it come up to room temp. I will probably tinker with these to see if I can improve them a little more but overall they are not too bad.

It wasn't too bad, so it will definitely work in a pinch. I think it would be better if it came up to room temp before frying. Perhaps even work a little sugar in the dough but I definitely worth a couple more tries.
