Easy Christmas Day treat
Fast food doesnt have to be junk food as this simple recipe for an effortless treat shows.
I simply love langoustine AKA Dublin Bay Prawns they are so simple to deal with but actually seem very indulgent and glamorous.
To cook them simply boil some water in a very large pan, add a generous amount of salt and bring to the boil. Boil them from 2 to 5 minutes depending on their size. You can lift their tail and see if the meat is white to tell if they are cooked.
Now pile on a large platter and allow your wowed guests to help themselves and peel them by hand at the table. Serve with Mayonnaise and chunks of lemon. Make the effort to crack the claws and suck out the meat it’s the sweetest of all.
