Easy peasy Lasagna
A recipe for a quick and light lasagna!
There are many ways of cooking lasagna, every region and family has its own recipe, nevertheless anyway you make it Lasagna it's always a tasteful very appreciated dish.
This is my simple recipe for Lasagna, probably my grandma reading this post will erase me from her heritage, but I'm going to explain you a quick and easy way to cook Lasagna that even a child could prepare it successfully.
Ingredients for 2/3 people
Olive oil, better if EVO
A pack of Lasagna fresh pasta sheet.
200 grams of Mozzarella Cheese
200 grams of Provolone (sweet, not smoked)
200 grams of grated Parmigiano Cheese
1 liter of Tomato sauce
Some basil leaf
This is a meat-free version, but it's possible to add, by personal taste thin slices of ham, or use instead of tomato sauce a jar of ragú. Personally, I like ragú only when it's handmade, but as it takes a long time for making a good one, I prefer the meat-free version I'm going to explain, rather than using a mass-produced jar.
First of all, put the tomato sauce on a bowl, add a spoon of olive oil and a pinch of coarse salt.
Take a medium-size tray with high borders, and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom.
Once it's done, you can put the first layer of pasta, spread other tomato sauce on it and add, tiny pieces of provolone and mozzarella all over it, then add the grated parmesan cheese.
Repeat this process several times, until you have made four layers of Lasagna.
Put them in the oven, following the cooking time written on the lasagna sheets package.
