Sure, it might be September now, but does that mean we have to shelve our favourite fruity cocktails for the rest of the year and start drinking Port instead? Not on my watch. Not while the sun's still shining. And especially not now I've stumbled upon the easiest-to-make cocktail EVER. Introducing: the Mionetto Orange Fizz.

To make it, all you'll need is 30ml orange liqueur (although realistically you can use any fruity aperitif, liqueur or vermouth you like), plus a trusty bottle of the nation's favourite Prosecco – Mionetto. This effervescent blend is best served at around 6-8°C in a tulip glass, to help preserve those bubbles and deliver that delicious aroma straight to your nose. Ooh, how refreshing!

For a proper slice of "la dolce vita", go the whole hog and serve your cocktails alongside a platter of tasty Italian appetisers. You know the drill – olives, prosciutto, radishes, smoked salami wrapped with mozzarella cheese, bread, cheese twists... Mmmmm. Cheese twists. Now where was I? Oh yes, the recipe...
